AllTech Wiring and Controls, Inc. opened for business in April of 1998, primarily as a burglar alarm subcontractor. The company was founded by current President Jerry Phillips who had several years of experience in installation service, project management and sales.

“Upon deciding to make a career change, I made a list of all the tasks I was performing to make a living. I crossed off all the items I didn’t enjoy doing, and also the items I felt I did not do so well. Once I looked back at what was left, I was an Installer,” Jerry said. In the past, I had noticed a problem of always having the right amount of people in the right place at the right time. A competent group of subcontract installers seemed to be what the industry needs.

At the start of my business, I had one truck and was the only technician. By the end of the first year, there were seven technicians. Now the company employs more than twenty technicians throughout North and South Carolina who do access control, burglar alarms, fire alarms, intercoms, CCTV installation and more, we do it all on time and on budget.
